Elaine Belanger-Porter has built a career that combines the arts and education, dedicated to promoting inclusive educational services and products that reflect culturally diverse societies. As an Educational Advisor and Facilitator at a leading Canadian polytechnic institution, Elaine empowers students to make informed academic and career choices, facilitates transformative educational experiences, and supports their transition to higher learning. In her role as Lead Consultant and Learning Strategist for Jonathan's Number Party, Elaine successfully achieved the book's objective of providing children of color and those with different abilities with positive representations while making mathematics accessible through an engaging storyline.

During her tenure as Production Manager at Moving On, a lifestyle documentary program at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Elaine and her team produced compelling stories that portrayed the lives of individuals with disabilities striving for greater independence. These stories highlighted their contributions to the diverse fabric of Canadian society, receiving recognition both nationally and internationally.

Elaine is also an accomplished author, having written Let the Bible Do the Talking, a manual designed to foster critical thinking and self-exploratory study, enabling readers to develop their own understanding of the Bible, regarded as one of the most influential books in the world. Driven by her passion for uncovering and documenting hidden histories, Elaine utilized her background in the arts and television production to write and produce the mini-documentary, I Am You, The Legacy of Israelite Scholarship.

Elaine holds a Master's of Arts in Education and a Bachelor's of Adult Education. She is a trained Learning Strategist and a certified TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) instructor in Ontario, Canada.
